Westport has entered into a business sale agreement to purchase certain assets of Advanced Engine Components Limited (AEC) of Perth, Western Australia, for A$1.45 million (approximately US$1.6 million) to be paid in cash and assumed liabilities. Cummins Westport Inc. announced today that it has received certifications from both the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) and Air Resources Board (“ARB”) in California for its 2018 L9N and B6.7N natural gas engines.
