Our Technology
OUR ROAD TO (NEAR) ZERO EMISSIONS

Our alternative fuel technologies are focused on innovative cleaner mobility and transportation with a road to (near) zero emission. For that our R&D teams worldwide have been working to optimize components and systems for and with our customers (OEM, D-OEM and AfterMarket).
Performance, efficiency, economics and safety are important while complying to the various strictest emission standards.
Our technologies can cover two main fuel systems engine architectures, covering all the current engine technologies available in the market:
- Primary System: where the WFS control system works as stand alone and control all the engine functions
- From 1 to 6 cylinders engines
- Monofuel and bifuel
- CNG-LPG-Hydrogen
- Secondary System: where the WFS control system works as add on to the original engine management system and control the alternative fuel management:
- From 1 to 10 cylinders petrol engines
- GDI, PFI, Hybrid (from mild to plug-in)
- Dual fuel technology on diesel engines
Our latest AFC-3.0 DI ECU has the capability to be programmed according to each vehicle and each petrol engine management system by using advanced hybrid technology electronics.
Our injection hardware, and our unique eVP-500 reducer, ensure accurate fuel delivery in each engine operating condition. The combination of these state-of-the-art components ensures an optimal performing fuel system with unparalleled performance and efficiency.
The Dual Fuel technology can be used worldwide for both on-road and off road vehicles, marine and stationary diesel engines, wherever alternative fuels are available. It is mostly used for heavy duty vehicles. Dual Fuel technology is based on using two different fuels in a Compression Ignition (CI diesel) engine. In this way, a certain part of the diesel can be replaced by a cleaner and more economical alternative fuel. Diesel remains responsible for the ignition. The secondary fuel is an alternative fuel like LPG, CNG, LNG or H2.
Hybrid technology
Together with KIA Italia, we developed the new Kia Niro Tri-Fuel, the first ever OEM Hybrid vehicle powered by HEV and LPG using 3 ‘fuel sources’ – petrol, Electric and LPG.
Our after market kits can cover also plug-in hybrid vehicles.
Hydrogen and Renewables
Today we are already working on solutions using other alternative fuels, such as biofuels, Hydrogen and DME. We are collaborating with key stakeholders such as Governments, fuel suppliers and producers, universities and OEMs and we believe that our products will be an important technology on our way to a greener future in transportation.
Each market worldwide has specific requirements and therefore our teams work with the local customers to optimize the systems. Look at or branded websites for specific information and follow our news for the latest developments.
