Bart van Aerle
Chief Executive Officer
Bart van Aerle was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 29 July 2025. In addition to his role as CEO, he holds board positions at Westport Fuel Systems Italia (WFSI), Stako (PL), Prins Autogassystemen (NL) and the Indian MWTL joint venture. Bart has built a distinguished 30-year career in the alternative fuels industry, serving in a variety of leadership and operational roles across different entities within the Group. He served as Executive Vice President, IAM & LD OEM, at Westport Fuel Systems and as General Manager of Prins, one of the Group’s principal subsidiaries and key brands in the Netherlands. From January 2018 to December 2019, he served as President of the Cummins Westport joint venture. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Engineering from Fontys University in Eindhoven (NL).
Frank Spiniello
Chief Financial Officer - Legal Representative
Frank Spiniello is Chief Financial Officer at Westport Fuel Systems since July 2025. He has diverse work experience in our organization in both finance and operations. Along with his role as CFO, he also serves as an Executive Officer and Legal Representative of WFS Italia. Previously he also served as Chairman of the WFS Italia Board of Directors.Frank is also the President of the Board of Directors at Ideas and Motion S.r.l. from May 2015. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Controller at Iveco from November 2004 to January 2008. Frank started his professional journey as an Auditor at PwC from October 1999 to November 2004. Frank Spiniello earned a Laurea degree in Economia Bancaria from Università degli Studi di Salerno, attending the University from 1991 to 1997.

François Hoenjet
Board member
François Hoenjet is a member of the Board of Directors. Besides being a director at Westport Fuel Systems, François is a partner at a Dutch family-owned investment fund and a non-executive director at Khondrion, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. François has worked as a partner at the Benelux law firm Loyens & Loeff for over 20 years, where he advised on complex M&A deals and corporate restructurings. He holds degrees in Business Economics & Tax Law (Maastricht University) and European Tax Studies (Erasmus University Rotterdam).Officers

Stefano Monaco
Chief Operating Officer
An executive with 30 years of experience mainly in the automotive sector, he has held positions of responsibility at Fiat Auto, Fiat-GM Powertrain, Fiat Powertrain Technologies, Fiat Group Automobiles, Iveco, CNH Industrial, Adler Group. With a solid background in R&D, product development, programme management and quality, including as Brescia Plant Director. He currently holds a position that integrates these experiences, as General Manager at Adler-TTA, the Composites and Aeronautics Division of Adler Group.
Luca Leonardi
Chief Legal Officer
Prior to joining Westport Fuel Systems Italia S.r.l. as Chief Legal Officer, Luca Leonardi has built a solid legal career in domestic and international law firms, focused on corporate, commercial, and contract law, supporting both extraordinary transactions and day-to-day legal needs, and has developed specific expertise in various industrial sectors. He also practiced litigation in the initial stages of his career and acted as an arbitrator in international commercial arbitrations. Throughout his professional journey, he has primarily advised mid- and large-sized companies, working closely with top management functions, particularly legal, operations, supply chain, and finance. Luca supported Italian and international clients in M&A transactions and advised on various aspects of corporate governance and commercial law. He also has a strong background in compliance, particularly regarding corporate criminal liability under Legislative Decree 231/2001, and served as a member of the supervisory body (Organismo di Vigilanza) of industrial companies. Luca has a degree in Private Comparative Law (cum laude) from the University of Bologna and an LL.M. in International Law.
Danilo Ceratto
Officer and Technical Director
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 1995.He began working at MTM-BRC Gas Equipment in 1995 within the advanced research and development team, of which he became the manager.
In 1998 he took on the role of technical director with responsibility for research and development activities.
In 2009 he was appointed head of research and development activities for the automotive sector of Fuel System Solutions In 2016, following the merger of Fuel System Solution and Westport, he was appointed Technical Director of Westport Fuel System Italia

Enrico Zanini

With extensive experience in driving quality performance within complex and highly regulated industrial environments, Enrico Zanini combines a strong engineering background with a career developed in global organizations such as GKN and other key OEMs across the automotive and aerospace industries. He has built a comprehensive and integrated perspective on manufacturing processes and management systems, working in close collaboration with major car makers worldwide. His cross-functional leadership extends across Quality, Operations, OpEx, and Lean Manufacturing, with a proven track record in executing corporate strategy and strengthening operational governance. He brings deep expertise in the Toyota Production System (TPS), leveraging a results-driven approach to optimize processes, reduce costs, and sustain high performance.He is recognized for aligning strategic vision with operational execution, consistently delivering measurable and sustainable value through the integration of quality, innovation, and high-performance organizational models.

Alessandro Bonetta

Alessandro Bonetta is Vice President, OEM of Westport Fuel Systems, and is responsible for global OEM business in all customer-facing activities of the group, both for components and systems in all gaseous fuels applications. Alessandro has an extensive experience of 2 decades in Sales and Business Development in Automotive and Marine sectors, and served previously as the Sales Director of Light-Duty OEM. In 2013 he joined Emer, a Westport Fuel Systems company in Italy, and has since then continuedly evolved his career in OEM sales. Alessandro has an academic background in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Verona, with a strong experience in international market developments.

Manager - D-OEM
He has extensive experience in project management, mainly in the D-OEM sector. He is responsible for the D-OEM Business Unit and manages approvals and regulations.
Marco Seimandi
India
Marco Seimandi previously worked as VP-Independent Aftermarket Manufacturer, Executive Director-Automotive Sales & Marketing at Fuel Systems Solutions, Inc., Marketing Director at M.T.M. Srl, and a Regional Commercial Manager at Valeo SE.Mr Seimandi holds a doctoral degree from Politecnico di Torino and an undergraduate degree from Centre Européen d'Education Permanente.

Cesare Pollini
IAM
Cesare Pollini, co-founder of the company in 1993, served as CEO of Zavoli S.r.l. from January 1, 1996, to October 31, 2018. Starting from a small family business, he led Zavoli's growth and expansion into over 30 countries worldwide, with Zavoli joining Fuel System Solutions in July 2007. He managed the subsidiaries OMVL and Valtek until their merger and incorporation into Westport Fuel Systems. Since 2016, he has held the position of Aftermarket Sales Manager, a role currently held as IAM BU Leader.

Arek Kubasik
Fuel Storage
Arek Kubasik is Vice President of the Fuel Storage Business Unit and General Manager of STAKO Ltd., one of Westport Fuel Systems’ core subsidiaries and a key brand in the European market. In this role, he is responsible for strategic leadership, operational performance, and the continued development of the company’s Fuel Storage portfolio across all geographies. Prior to joining Westport Fuel Systems in 2021, Mr. Kubasik served several years as Commercial Director of STAKO Ltd. and a Director for the Alternative Fuels Business Unit Europe at Worthington Industries, a U.S.-based corporation headquartered in Ohio, where he led commercial strategy and business development initiatives across the region. Mr. Kubasik holds a Master of Science degree in Economics, Finance, and Management from the University of Szczecin, as well as an Executive MBA in Strategy, Programme, and Project Management from Gdańsk University of Technology.Plant directors

Roger Konings
Eindhoven Plant Director
He has been working at Westport Fuel Systems Netherlands since 1997, during which time he has gained extensive experience in alternative fuel technologies for the automotive sector. Over the years, he has contributed to the development, optimisation, and support of high-quality gas pressure regulation systems and components for LPG and CNG applications. Thanks to his experience in engineering, manufacturing processes, and customer-oriented solutions, he often acts as a bridge between technical requirements and practical implementation.In the second half of his career, he took on broader responsibilities in purchasing and operations, playing a key role in supplier management, cost optimisation, production workflows, and overall process efficiency. This helped strengthen reliability, quality, and continuity within the organisation.

Zenon Lyczko
Slupsk Operations Manager
He began his professional career in 1992, developing it through managerial positions in manufacturing companies in the plastics processing, machinery, and fashion production sectors from 2001. He began his career at Stako from 2012 to 2015, first as Customer Service Manager and then as Deputy Sales Director. He then resumed his role in 2021 as Head of the IT Department and Business Automation Development and continues today as Deputy General Manager in charge of Production and the IT Department. His professional skills and experience comprehensively cover the areas of Operations and Sales, as well as a good knowledge of Finance and Accounting. His experience also includes excellent knowledge of IT and the operation of ERP and MES systems. During his professional career in production, he developed skills in the practical application of LEAN techniques, such as 5S, Kanban, SMED, and Value Stream Mapping, which are part of the Lean Management system. In 1992 he received his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Gdańsk University of Technology.
